LVis is alive! An Interface that rocks the Lab

LVis – that's a modern and easy to use interface for standard applications of gamma spectrometry with HPGe-detectors. A specialized software, which can be flexibly configured and offers a wide variety of other, clearly displayed applications, supports daily analysis tasks.

LVis gives users, who control several measurement chains of HPGe (high-purity germanium) detectors with a matching measurement electronic circuit, the option to apply various sets of parameters and measurement geometry to libraries, calibration files and background corrections. Another possible application is the administration of several detectors which are combined in a system of multi-detector configurations (for body counters, for example), as well as the integration of sample changer for fully automated systems. Also, a flexible reporting system is integrated in LVis, which gives users the option to design their own reports.

Marschelke Messtechnik developed LVis in close cooperation with Dr. Marc Breidenbach, European Technical Support Specialist at Ametek, a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices. From the very beginning, the project had been tailored according to clients' need and wishes. That's why LVis, at the end of the day, belongs to the customer, the user who we would like to thank for their constant flow of ideas and support.
